MAP SEAL SYSTEM
All MAP Seal Systems should be purged. Air at 3- 5 pounds above line pressure is recommended. Air purging the seal creates a higher pressure inside the seal cavity, which creates an air barrier that helps keep material inside the valve. With a MAP Seal System and air purge, you can forget about those costly nitrogen purge systems and those messy grease purges you have to manually purge over and over again, yuck.
